Lisa provides direction and management for the team, and serves as the senior instructional designer for the group. She has over ten years of experience designing and building online educational media. Her career in the area of online teaching and training began at The CBORD Group with the development of online help systems and multimedia tutorials and continued at eCornell and Cornell University with the development of web-based courses. Lisa has degrees in cognitive psychology, physics, and mathematics. She formed Ithaca Content Architecture and Design in 2005.
Renee joined the ICAD team in April 2011. With a degree in Graphic Design and Digital Arts from the University of Tampa, she brings her digital illustration skills and her experience in web and print design to the team. Before joining ICAD, Renee was an in-house designer at multiple computer software firms, and most recently, she worked as a web designer at Doctors Without Borders as part of their competitive internship program. When not in front of a computer screen, Renee enjoys visiting art galleries and exhibitions and checking out new plays.
Tim contributes web programming and design, user-interface production, database integration, publishing, and editing to a variety of ICAD projects. He has fifteen years of experience in web and printed media and brings a unique skill set to the group with degrees in graphic design, astrophysics, and philosophy. Tim also edits and publishes herpetological monographs for the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles, as well as practices photography and audio engineering.
Claire brings to the team skills ranging from graphic design to video production. She has a degree from Ithaca College in film, photography, and visual arts, and has produced various fiction, non-fiction, and experimental films. Originally from Hawaii, Claire applies her multicultural perspective to her work. She revels in the art of baking and enjoys watching films, mixing cocktails, and trying out new video games.
Genevieve contributes graphic design, multimedia production, digital illustration, and web work to the ICAD projects. Outside of the office she is the art director of She's the First, a non-profit organization that supports girls' education worldwide. Genevieve is currently attending Syracuse University as a double major in Graphic Design and Policy Studies. When she is not designing, she enjoys practicing photography and cooking.
Vincent contributes graphic design, web design, and illustration skills to the ICAD team. He has a degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Cornell, and is currently working toward a degree in Toy Design. He is especially interested in games and animation, and enjoys creating graphics for a variety of media.
With expertise in the areas of web design, visual literacy, simulations, games, instructional design, and e-learning, Professor Charsky consults on numerous team projects. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of instructional design and technology in the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.
Rhian Ellis contributes to ICAD's large instructional design projects. She has published novels, short fiction, and non-fiction and has taught writing at Ithaca College.
Becky Lane provides videography services and consults in the areas of media production, instruction, and content development. Before forming the Lane Media Group, Ms. Lane served as the online media producer and book acquisitions editor for the Women's Sports Foundation.
